This hotel is an absolute gem and a real bargain! Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel is located perfectly for mainline train travel, and there is plenty to see in the local area: Surabaya seems to be overlooked by tourists, but it is an interesting slice of Indonesian city life, rather than the obvious Instagram moments that people seem to go for. The free breakfast was great and I had a very tasty Indonesian dinner via room service.

My recent stay at Ibis Surabaya Tidar was quite pleasant overall. The hotel's central location was undoubtedly one of its biggest assets, making it easy to access various attractions and amenities in Surabaya. Additionally, their commitment to sustainability by offering refills for water in glass jugs instead of plastic bottles was commendable and appreciated. The food quality was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the Vegetarian and Amante di Carne Pizza, which was truly delightful.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel had a gym and a restaurant which was a bonus. The location was good a short grab ride away from the train station and 20 minute walk to a mall and plenty of cafes. I would recommend and stay again.

Location in the best area. Near Tunjungan area where alot of food, resto, and cafe. ooh so does only walking distance to Souvenir Store Bu Rudy.
